A Memo from Jeff to All Equine Enthusiasts
Jeff's equestrian roots date back to his college years when he discovered two things, the cutest girls like horses and there wasn't a lot of competition for the cute girls. Some who know Jeff might argue that he made this discovery earlier while in high school judging livestock at the county fairs because he always seemed to end up at the horse barns. He has had horses in his life since graduating college with one short intermission where he swore off horse girls and horses.
Then, the cutest girl, now his partner, USDF Gold Medalist Susan Cooper entered his life. They have many happy years pursuing their passions together and building a business matching horses at Impulsion Unlimited Dressage. In addition to their personal horses, Jeff and Sue are parents to Molly the Mastiff, Lily the Boston Terrier, Onyx the Australian Shepherd, multiple cats and PJ the Amazon Parrot.
Jeff holds degrees in finance and marketing and has a highly successful track record as a salesperson and VP of Business Development in corporate America. Today, he continues to be a highly respected consultant, mentor, and coach for small to medium-sized businesses. He delivers extraordinary value through his efforts in sales performance improvement for the organizations he assists through retainer engagements and individual project work.

What Does Jeff Do?
In short, I am equine matchmaker. And I do it in three ways by, understanding the horse's needs, understanding the seller's needs, understanding the buyer's needs. Most every buyer, seller and horse Sue and I work with wants a perfect match and a happy new beginning. But, we insist that successful equine matchmaking must occur within the framework of the highest levels of integrity in order to foster trust with all parties. In other words, I take the time to ask questions and understand everyone's including the horse's individual needs before ever suggesting an introduction. Matching horses correctly involves building very detailed profiles beginning with the horse, who it is best suited for and then actively searching for a new owner whose own profile once understood is deemed to be a good match. This approach cuts literally months off of the time-to-market and virtually ensures a long-term relationship between the horse and its new owner.

The first reason to work with me is this: I have real-world business experience in sales and marketing including five years experience as a top producer and consultant for one of the world's most highly regarded sales performance improvement companies. I've taken my lifetime of experience both with horses and business, successfully adapted and created new methodologies that apply to the world of selling and buying horses. I am a business owner with an educational background in finance and marketing and know how to make decisions on behalf of our clients that are favorable to both time and financial investment.
2. The second reason to work with me is more important than the first. My clients get real results faster with less total investment in time and money and a wonderful new partner in the care of a delighted new owner. One thing we hear over and over again from clients is that the horses are exactly as we described or even nicer in person and our average number of introductions to successful matches is 2.5 to 1. The buyer's I work with often find their dream-horse in 90 days or less while saving countless hours and thousands of dollars in searching expenses.

3. The final reason to work with me is a personal one. I believe that horses and riders deserve the best possible match and my gift is helping to create this reality one match at a time. Nobody ever complains that the processes I created combined with my skills in understanding people and horses then matching needs is not the most efficient and effective method to finding the perfect equine partner. I am passionate about delivering results when everyone else is complaining, because I believe in the core of my being that everyone deserves the horse of their dreams at least once.
